Lessons of my Life

In my 16 years of life, I have learned;

No matter how much I prepare to present, I never feel prepared when I actually have to.

When changing schools, there is always that one weird person that will work hard to make you feel welcomed, and then becomes your best friend.

It is always important to think before speaking because one wrong word can sound dumb. Then your friends never let you live it down

I am murderous when I am forced to wake up too early after having a restless night, but when waking up at will, I feel strangely rejuvenated.

A soft blanket and a squishy pillow along with a comfy bed or couch make life great.

You can choose your name, but then are not happy when people begin calling you by it.

Having my moms first name made me feel old.

People I had met when I was younger I have eventually ran into them again years later.

 Music makes life bearable in dark moments because it allows an easy escape to another world.

Honesty can be rather hurtful, but it is better to hear it then a lie.

 In movies, the villains always have a sad story, which caused them to become the way they are. This is also true in real life.

The villain in real life never dresses in dark clothes and speaks strangely. He normally looks sweet.

Coffee with extra shots before a test does not end well because the mind thinks to much.

Watching sad movies is great for getting stuff of ones chest, especially for those times you want to cry but don’t.

Horror movies are terrible to watch by yourself because you begin to imagine every little noise. Though when watching a horror movie with a friend, it becomes twice as scary because your friend is trying to scare you.

The quote “sticks and stones may brake my bones, but words will never hurt me,” is a big lie. Sure sticks and stones can break bones, but words hurt more than physical pain.

There are those days when I blurt out words that make since in my own head but no one else gets. Luckily my friends understand and don’t judge.
