When a
child loses a toy, it is sad, but it happens. According to the GoodNewsNetwork,
Kim Lane was working one day when a customer came in with a toy, which had been
left behind. The toy was a given to military children when their parent was
sent overseas. Kim posted the lost toy on Facebook hoping to return the lost
toy. After some time, she found a two-year-old boy who the doll belonged to. He
was glad to be reunited with his doll that when pressed said "Hey buddy,
it's dada. I miss you and I love you."
Toys are
often valuable to children because they represent something important, in this
boy’s case; it was a way to be connected to his dad. The fact that a lady
wanted to find the boy to return his lost toy is an act of
kindness. Normally a person would not care that a child lost a
toy since it is something that happens every day. Children loose toys and
eventually move on from them. How thoughtful was Kim over a simple artifact.
This brings happiness to me.
